LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Armed with nothing but a toy gun, one man stole a pack of cigarettes from a Lincoln gas station, police say.
Shortly after 8 a.m., a 25-year-old man entered a Kwik Shop near 44th and O Streets with what employees thought was a handgun.
He then went to the employee side of the counter and grabbed a pack of cigarettes, which police say was worth around $8.36.
The suspect left the store, he kicked over a beef jerky display stand, police said.
Shortly after, officers say they found him nearby with a toy handgun and the stolen cigarettes.
He was then arrested and charged with robbery.
