New MultiVersus leaks show off some upcoming skins for LeBron James, Jake the Dog, and plenty more characters in the game's roster.

Combining a cast of different characters from Warner Bros IPs, MultiVersus initially caught gamers' eyes with its wacky roster and cartoonish style. The platform fighter has gained a lot of attention since it was first unveiled, and now that MultiVersus is in its open beta stage, plenty of players are enjoying the game as it continues to blow up online. However, with the open beta test for the game, fans have gained access to its files, which have allowed dataminers to uncover potentially new upcoming content.

Back when the game was in its closed alpha testing, some leakers uncovered new characters coming to MultiVersus. Some of those characters, such as LeBron James and Rick and Morty, were eventually officially revealed by developer Player First Games. The latest leaks for MultiVersus don't point fans in the direction of new characters being added to the game, though, and instead they appear to display some new cosmetics for already playable fighters.

According to the latest leak, which was first posted by AisulMV on Twitter, some new skins for Jake the Dog, LeBron James, Taz, Bugs Bunny, Harley Quinn, and Arya Stark will be on their way to MultiVersus. The leaked images were removed from the original post by AisulMV, but it seems that the skins for Jake the Dog, LeBron James, and the Looney Tunes characters all revolved around the theme of space.

LeBron James' new skin will have him dressed as Batman's famed sidekick Robin, while Bugs Bunny and Taz will gain access to their costumes from both Space Jam movies. Jake the Dog's new skin will feature the beloved Adventure Time character in his real form, where he appears as a blue alien. While it may not seem like LeBron James' new skin is connected to space, he does wear the Robin costume while adventuring in Space Jam 2's DC Universe, so there is at least a link between the two.

Fans are mostly pointing at the space theme due to when they think the new skins will be released. Currently, MultiVersus players believe that the new cosmetics will be coming in early August. This is when Rick and Morty are also meant to arrive in MultiVersus, and considering the connection to space those two characters have, it would make sense to release some space-themed skins alongside them. However, there is currently no official word on when or if these skins will be coming to MultiVersus, so eager fans should wait until an announcement comes from either Player First or Warner Bros Interactive.

MultiVersus is available in open beta on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
